Dennis Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, major in Economics, University of Denver and began his financial career in 1967 as Registered Representative of a New York Stock Exchange-member firm.
As a founding member of Pacific Options Exchange in San Francisco in 1976, Dennis traded listed stock options and ran a floor trading operation.
Dennis joined Credit Suisse-First Boston in 1981 and ran equity floor trading operations on the Pacific Stock Exchange; he retired as Vice President in 1989.
Dennis opened his own trading firm in 1989, Ramsden-Securities Inc., on the Pacific Stock Exchange, acting as agent for over 60 mostly NY member firms, handling all types of orders but specializing in arbitrage of foreign securities and their listed U.S counterparts.
In addition to his extensive market experience, Dennis Ramsden is also a former local business owner, having owned the McCully House in Jacksonville for 12 years. He is Past Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Medford/Jackson County, past Board Chairman of the Rogue Valley Foundation and is currently Executive Director of the Medford Jazz Festival.
